THE MARYLEBONE SUMMER FAYRE provides everything you would expect from a traditional village fete – food, drink, music, children’s activities, craft stalls, a farmers’ market, tombola and lashings of community spirit. But because it takes place right in the heart of central London it also has a number of advantages over its more parochial cousins – a music stage featuring some of the most exciting up-and-coming acts in the country, the participation of some of London’s finest restaurants and retailers, and an amazing diversity of activities.

THE HOWARD DE WALDEN ESTATE has been hosting the Marylebone Summer Fayre every June for eight years now, and each year it returns bigger, better and with even greater levels of local participation. As well as showcasing the best of what Marylebone has to offer, and just being a thoroughly good day out, the event has another important purpose – raising money for good causes. This year’s charity partner is Kids Company, which works to provide life-changing support to vulnerable.
